Job Description

• To in charge overall production activities and work performance especially in dipping activities in order to ensure the process and system of production are running in normal and as per schedule.
• Responsible to inspect, observe, analyze and control all activities involved in the glove manufacturing operations based on the procedure requirements, work instructions and specifications.
• To control and monitor downtime, B-grade and reject gloves in production lines and also monitor offline maintenance activities.
• To liaise with Head of Department on production planning and get solutions on any issues in Dipping Section.
• To in charge of production trouble shooting and ensure quality to meet AQL required.
• Immediately report to respective department if got any abnormality occur and report to management.
• To plan production resources according to the schedule.
• To monitor down time record to evaluate line or production efficiency and work out with Maintenance Team to improve continuously at dipping zone
• To request daily chemical from Warehouse Department by using ERP System and ensure efficient use of raw materials and utilization at all time.
• To train and brief all the Supervisors, Leaders and Operators to understand the dipping procedure, Safety and Health requirement and working zone cleanliness to meet GMP.
• To follow up and ensure the MES System is executed completely.

Requirement

• Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Chemical/Electrical/Mechanical or equivalent)

• To take the required sample from Production, Packing, and Compounding Department and send for testing.
• To follow-up the result after testing.
• To re-inspect and check the sample of glove from Packing and Production Department whether fulfil the quality standard and requirements.
• To check and verified the packaging material and former.
• To key in all the required data into system and prepare the report (Daily, weekly and monthly).
• To clean the work station.
• To comply and follow safety & health procedure.
• To handle any ad-hoc tasks if required by superior.

Job Description

A) Printer

• To carry out daily maintain, service and trouble shoot the printer in production line.
• To identify printer problem that cannot be solve and liaise with the supplier.
• To monitor contractor work for printer repairing and servicing jobs.
• To record the data and prepare service report.
• To train and brief the Leader and Operators regarding work procedure, work instruction, specification and quality standard and also to continually monitor their work performance.
• To ensure proper records and documents pertaining to documented procedures.

B) SCADA

• Monitoring all utilities, facilities, products, instruments and control system which required by superior and notify others if there is any abnormality happened.
• To record, detect and report all problem regarding control room operation.
• To schedule and repair / troubleshoot or assist contractor for servicing or repairing job to ensure all the equipment and indicators are well functioning and meet the specifications and quality.
• Record and compile operating data, instrument readings, documentation, and results of laboratory analyses.
• Operate auxiliary equipment and control multiple processing units during production, moving controls that regulate valves, pumps, compressors, and auxiliary equipment.
• Operate control panels to coordinate and regulate process variables such as temperature and pressure, and to direct product flow rate, according to process schedules.
• Coordinate shutdowns and major projects for scada system operation.

DR. YEE CHOW BOI

Independent Non-Executive Director

Dr. Yee Chow Boi, a Malaysian, Male, aged 71, is our Independent Non-Executive Director and was appointed to our Board on 1 June 2018. He is also a member of our Audit Committee and Nomination Committee. Dr. Yee obtained a B.Agr.Sc. (Hon) First Class, a Ph.D. from Lincoln University, New Zealand and a M.B.A. from Bath University, United Kingdom.

He started his working career as an Assistant Agronomist in Guthrie Research Chemara in 1980, where he was doing research and development on plant nutrition and agronomic practices to improve oil palm yields cost effectively. During his 14 years in Kumpulan Guthrie, he expanded his scope to include new crops development, biotechnology, and mechanization. The tropical plantation exposure in this earlier career serves as the pillar for his strong belief in sustainable and efficient science-based farming and production.

In 1994, he decided to venture into the fast-moving consumer goods industry by joining Mars Inc, the biggest chocolate company in the world. He was the Regional Vendor Assurance Manager for Asia, then the Commercial Manager (Asia) for Food, Cocoa, and Co-Manufacturing products. His professional experience of supply chain management includes strategy formation, supplier development, vendor assurance, purchasing, sustainable and safe supply pipeline, risk management, certification, and managing supplier and stakeholder relationship in more than 12 Asian countries including China, India, Thailand, Indonesia, and Papua New Guinea.

He is a Consultant and Origin Expert on sustainable cultivation and supply of palm oil, cocoa, coconut, and rice for Mars Inc where he works with international donor agencies and the public and private sectors on farmers empowerment programs and effective technology transfer of best farming practices in Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines. He also conducts training on strategic sourcing, and coaches and mentors on personal development and organizational agility.

He does not hold any directorship in other public companies and listed companies. He does not have any family relationship with any director and/or major shareholder of the Company. Neither he has any conflict of interest with the Company nor convicted on any offences within the past five (5) years. There were no public sanctions or penalties imposed on him by the relevant regulatory bodies during the financial year ended 31 December 2020.

He attended all four (4) Board Meetings held during the financial year ended 31 December 2020.

OOI LENG CHOOI

Independent Non-Executive Director

Ooi Leng Chooi, A.C.M.A., C.A. (M), CFP, a Malaysian, Male, aged 55, is a Chartered Accountant, a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and a Certified Finance Planner (CFP). Mr. Ooi was appointed to our Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director on 1 June 2018. He is the Chairman of our Audit Committee and a member of our Remuneration Committee.

Mr. Ooi accumulated his experience and knowledge in corporate finance when he was with Fajarbaru Builder Group Bhd in 1998 as a Finance Manager and was appointed to the Board of Fajarbaru Builder Group Bhd as an Executive Director on 12 December 2001. Then, he was re-designated as Non-Independent Non-Executive Director on 24 February 2016. Subsequently, he was re-designated as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Fajarbaru Builder Group Bhd on 28 August 2018 and holding the same position as at to-date. He has more than 20 years of working experience in handling corporate finance and general management, and was working for two (2) listed companies prior to joining Fajarbaru Builder Group Bhd.

He does not have any family relationship with any director and/or major shareholder of the Company. Neither he has any conflict of interest with the Company nor convicted on any offences within the past five (5) years. There were no public sanctions or penalties imposed on him by the relevant regulatory bodies during the financial year ended 31 December 2020.

He attended all four (4) Board Meetings held during the financial year ended 31 December 2020.

FOONG KUAN MING

Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman

Foong Kuan Ming, a Malaysian, Male, aged 67, is our Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman. He was appointed to our Board on 14 September 2010 as an Independent Non-Executive Director. On 10 May 2013, he was re-designated as the Senior Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company. Subsequently, he was re-designated as our Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman on 31 December 2022. Mr. Foong is a member of our Audit Committee, Nomination Committee and Remuneration Committee.

Mr. Foong graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Law from University of Central Lancashire, England in 1980. He subsequently post-graduated from the Council of Legal Education, London and was called to Utter Barrister-at-Law of Lincoln’s Inn, London.

He is an advocate and solicitor by profession. He was called to the Malaysian Bar in 1982 and has been in legal practice since then. He is also an Accredited Mediator with the Malaysian Mediation Centre of the Bar Council of Malaysia. He is the founder and senior partner of the law firm, Messrs. Foong & Co., which is principally engaged in banking, corporate and property legal matters.

He does not have any family relationship with any director and/or major shareholder of the Company. Neither he has any conflict of interest with the Company nor convicted on any offences within the past five (5) years. There were no public sanctions or penalties imposed on him by the relevant regulatory bodies during the financial year ended 31 December 2021.

He does not hold any directorship in other public companies and listed issuers. He attended all five (5) Board Meetings held during the financial year ended 31 December 2021.
